James Eddy's Obituary
James Eddy, 60, of Coweta, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016. He was born in Rockford, Illinois, on September 25, 1955, the son of William Dowel Eddy, Jr., and Eulene (Sanders) Eddy. On September 23, 1983, he married Cheryl Ann “Cheri” Gagliano, in Austin, Texas. James will be best remembered for the love and care he had for his family. He found great joy in doing for others. He loved the sport of softball, and enjoyed being a player, even in recent years. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheri, of Coweta, son, Colin Eddy, of Tulsa, daughter, Erin Eddy, of Sapulpa, grandchildren, Kacey and Corbin Eddy, of Tulsa, sisters, Linda Johnson, of Rockford, Illinois, and Angela Hadie, and her husband, Troy, of Winnebago, Illinois, brother, Lyle Eddy, and his wife, Rebecca, of Rockford, Illinois, brothers and sisters in law, Cindy Lender, and her husband, Mark, of Pecatonica, Illinois, David Gagliano, and his wife, Cris, of Rockford, Illinois, Dan Gagliano, and his wife, Stephanie, of Georgetown, Texas, Carrie Felley, of Manhattan, Kansas, Carla Gagliano, of Austin, Texas, Darin Gagliano, of Belvidere, Illinois, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He also has two “fur kids”, Rosie and Rusty, who miss their best friend terribly. He was preceded in death by his father, William Eddy, and brother, Ricky Eddy.
