Dana Luft
Roy has been a close family dear friend all of my life (61 years) as my family lived across the street. In fact, my parents bought the house from Roy's brother in 1946. My childhood was filled with wonderful memories of Roy and his dearly departed wife, Carmel. They hosted my wedding shower in their living room in 1967. When my father died, Roy Wise, in 2004 his dear friend Roy Fairly watched out after Mom (Roline Wise) and took her to the beauty shop & lunch every Thursday until he relocated to assisted living several years ago. When I visited Roy last month with fresly baked cookies in hand, he told me "I'm 97 and I'm ready to go". His statement has helped me be at peace with his passing, as it was what he wanted. To say he will be missed is an understatement. What an amazing, intelligent, inspiring and true gentleman he is and will always be.Sincerely, Dana Luft
