James Creed Hughes, 90, of Broken Arrow passed away April 24, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 31, 1932 in Roxton, Texas to James and Hattie Hughes. He loved the outdoors; especially fishing, golf and yard work. He loved all and was loved by all. James (Jim) was preceded in death by his parents; brother Waymond Boyd and son James Phillip. James (Jim) is survived by his wife, of 41 years, Sheila; daughters Sheryl Ann Cruzan, Sharlett Finn and Star Ritzendollar; son John Payne, Jr; nephew James Stacy Hughes; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
