Funeral Service to be held 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 27 ,2012 at the Floral Haven Funeral Chapel. James “Jim” L. Hunter, 69 passed away February 25, 2012. Jim was born on April 19, 1942 in Eureka Springs , AR to Jack and Annabelle Hunter and was married to Janette “Jan” K. Hunter for 50 years. Jim graduated from The University of Tulsa in 1967 with a Bachelor's Degree. Jim retired from Amoco Production Company as a Manager in the Tulsa Data Center . He was a devoted Son, Father, & Grandfather. He enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his father John “Jack” Forest Hunter in 2002. Jim is survived by his mother Annabelle Hunter, wife Jan Hunter, son John E. Hunter and wife Lourie, daughter Maryanne Dover and husband Patrick and 6 grandchildren Levy, Lauren, Nash, Wesley, Gracie and Aaron. The Family wlli recieve friends at the Floral Haven Family Center after the Funeral Service.
