James Caleb Hunter's Obituary
James Caleb Hunter was born to Wesley Hunter and Tawni McKeon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 13, 1992. He passed peacefully in his sleep on June 26, 2024 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his parents Tawni McKeon, Wesley Hunter & Laura Hunter, his sister and closest friend Cadi Revill, brother Joseph McKeon, Brother-in-law Logan Revill, niece Gracelyn James Revill and grandparents Jeral and Saundra Hunter and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his parent John McKeon and his grandparents Bill and Joan Boudreau.
James attended Jenks High School, Tulsa Technology Center, Tulsa Welding School and Rankin Technical College. He worked in hand made pizza shops, cooked for many fine dining restaurants, was a welder/fabricator and most recently as a Bonder at Spirit Aerosystems.
Although his exterior was armored with edgy tattoos and body art, James Caleb was a kind and gentle soul. He was introspective, always searching for meaning and striving for a better version of himself. A staunch defender and confidant of those needing support, he often stood his ground for others. He was highly intuitive to people and the response from people who he had positive and kind words and actions for has been overwhelming.
His passions were exploring earth’s natural beauty, photography, reading, lifting weights, and live music. He was a fantastic cook, an avid video gamer and pursued everything Warhammer. He obsessed over his 92’ Ford Ranger pickup.
James Caleb’s legacy of kindness and search for meaning continue to inspire those who knew him. As we bid farewell in this life to this beloved young man let us carry forward the light, wisdom and kindness he brought into our lives.
