James Inglett's Obituary
James Kelly Inglett, 73, entered heaven peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2020, with his loving wife of 54 years Nancy Sloan Inglett at his side. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico on September 10, 1946 to Raymond and Geraldine Inglett. James graduated from Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1964. He attended Northeastern State University and the University of Tulsa before serving in the Army (1968-1970) during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Central State University (now UCO) in 1971 and received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and Business. In May of 2000, James completed a Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling from the International Bible College and Seminary. Over his lifetime, James owned a clothing business called Trend Apparel in Conway, Arkansas, and Quix Beauty Supply in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1992, God called him to be a pastor to many churches in the greater Tulsa area. He served as pastor at Lakeview Christian Church in Mannford, Oklahoma from 2014-2020, when the Lord called him home to heaven. James loved to inspire children of all ages and loved his family with a grateful heart. He also loved to fish, bird watch, preach, serve others, watch black and white films like Hopalong Cassidy, and listen to gospel music.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Geraldine Inglett
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sloan Inglett; his children James Inglett and his wife Amber and Jonathan Inglett; his brother Gerald Inglett and his wife Carolyn and his children Alisa and Chris; his sister Jonnie and her children Larry, Raymond, Manuel, and Melissa; his grandchildren Shaughn, Tyler, Zachary, Joshua, Corina, Parker, Ethan; and great-granddaughter Luna.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Floral Haven Cemetery (6420 S. 129th E. Ave Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Lakeview Christian Church (155 Coonrod Dr. Mannford, OK 74044). The internment for family and friends will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
