i have so many memories of Bible Baptist Church and the wonderful man who led this little 3rd grader to Christ such a long time ago, and who many years later officiated the marriage of my husband and I. The last time I saw him and Bernice was at a relatives funeral and still felt such a heavenly spirit and calm come over me as I talked to him. I am so thankful he followed his calling to serve God. My condolences to his entire family. What a celebration he is having. Teala Crosby McKenzie
Hard to condense years of life experiences with dear Bro. Jim into a few sentences. I remember someone always available to counsel a young married couple who couldn't get their act together, prayer meetings on our knees at the church and in their home, memorizing scriptures, revivals, salvations/baptisms, business meetings, building programs, children's church, bus ministry & more; lunch outings to Casa Bonita, Wahoo games & popcorn, Jim's broken watch crystal from a sore loser named Rusty throwing his dice :), helping Rusty drive & deliver groceries; someone with a great sense of humor; he loved Jesus & telling others about him, couldn't preach without using his hands & such a tender heart. Many souls will be in Heaven or are already there because of his faithful journey here.
Many years ago we moved to Broken Arrow and was led to Bible Baptist Church by our wonderful christian milkman(Frank Wrght). Jim Gaylor entered our family's life at that time and we shared many years . He was a very kind and loving man and was always willing to help his church members. I have many wonderful memories.. My condolences to Bernice, Joyce, Terri and Doug. You will miss your wonderful dad but we will see him again someday. Linda (Lay) Rountree
What a blessing James Gaylor and his family have been in our lives. Fifty years ago, when my mother, brother and I needed help, they were there to help. They made sure we had food, a refrigerator, and clothes. Great memories of Bible Baptist Church and the strong leadership he provided. Also fond memories of them coming over for cook outs and games. Jim was there for us again 10 years ago to do my dad's funeral. He and Bernice, always a smile on their faces, always ready to help and love people. Well you know even though we never could prove we were kin, we always wanted to be and claimed you. I want to thank all the Gaylors for your love and assistance thru the years! God called a great servant home! Now may he hold you family in his hand and bless them thru this time! Love you Gaylors! Randy Gaylor
