James Michael Johnson's Obituary
James “Michael” Johnson, age 45 of Broken Arrow, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, January 27 after a brief battle with an aggressive form of Melanoma. Michael was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 21,1980 to Janet (Posey) and Jon Johnson. He enjoyed traveling with his family, bowling, spending time at Grand Lake, and watching sports - especially OU football. He is survived by his wife Connie (Broken Arrow) and their daughter Addision, his mother Janet Johnson (Tulsa), and numerous extended family members and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his father Jon Johnson and his maternal grandparents Illogene and James Posey. A visitation to come and pay your respects to Michael will be held on Sunday, February 1st, 2026 from 3PM - 5PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday, February 2nd, 2026 at 12:30PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Michael will be laid to rest at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Clarehouse in Michael's memory.
