I want to express my deepest sympathies to the King family. Scott was a wonderful man and he departed this world according to God's time, but far too soon for us. I attended his sister Ronna's service, and I didn't get a chance to say hello to the King family face-to-face. At the time, I thought it best to pay my respects and go, as there were so many people there and I thought they might be overwhelmed. I regret that decision with all of my heart. I'm so sad that I will never have the chance to tell Scott how much I adored him and his sister. I only read of his passing today, and I am disappointed that I was unable to attend his service this morning. I had the opportunity to meet Elizabeth at the service of Cisco Chaffin, a close friend of Scott's. I am so happy for Scott that he met such a sweet lady to share his life with. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. As the mother of two small children, I cannot begin to understand how it would feel to lose my husband and their daddy. On a happy note, I know that Scott knew his Lord and Savior, and I take comfort in knowing he is Home. I hope you can find comfort in that as well.
