I fell in love with him when I was only 14 years old and he has made me feel so loved and respected ever since that time of first love. He has been my strong spiritual guide through the years. Our life has been so blessed and happy and we’ve known our faith in God had kept us, even though we were never perfect – but we knew He was.Our entire married life of 67 years, we have been active in church and that has given us faith and spiritual strength for the troubles that life brings but – oh the joy we have had! We loved to travel and see the beauty of our great America! Our family has been such a treasure. The bigger the family became, the more fun it was and we have constantly had family dinners throughout the years. We needed no entertainment but each other, the joy was in being together and the lively, fun conversations and staying in touch with each other’s lives.James has been a great example for our 2 children, our 6 grandchildren, and now our 8 great grandchildren. They all love and respect him and knew he loved them dearly. He knew our family, our friends, and our church would be a constant source of love and support when he had to leave me and he did his best to prepare me for this time. There will never be another love like his so I cherish your prayers as I continue – but without him. Thanks to all of you for the love that has been shown to us.In God’s love, BarbCelebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 28, 2019 at The Church at BattleCreek. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Church at BattleCreek Youth Camp Fund at: http://www.thechurch.at/giveor OCSRI: Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute at: https://www.ocsri.org
