Jim loved Lake Tenkiller and being at Pine Cove Marina during the summer and that’s where we spent our summers. Jim first taught me how to waterski and then jumping off of the cliffs around the lake. The marina owned a beautiful Cabin Cruiser and he taught me how to park the boat in the slip and I can still park a boat. My first plane ride was in Jim’s plane from Missouri to Oklahoma and he was a very serious pilot.
Jim had a very special young boy named Tyler in his life the last few years and it was
such a blessing. The young family became his neighbor after my mother passed away and it was God’s working. Everyone knew that Jim did not like children, but Tyler became Jim’s little walking buddy with lots of questions. I promised my mother that I would care for Jim after her death, and we worked very well together. Jim was ready for leaving this earth and meeting his Lord.
