James Howard Moody's Obituary
James Howard Moody entered this earth on December 21, 1933 and departed to Heaven on December 25, 2014. James was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Edward L. and Jennie Moody. James attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Industrial Engineering. He married Patty Ruth Hahn on August 25, 1956. James commanded the 172nd Support Group and the 4156 USAR School in Broken Arrow and retired from the Army Reserves in 1987 as a Colonel after 30 years of service. He retired as Manager of Facilities Engineering with American Airlines in 1999 after 39 years of service. James was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Charles. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Pat; son, Lawrence (Larry) Moody and his wife Mary of Tulsa; daughters, Stephanie Oktay and husband Alan of Broken Arrow and Pamela Mamalis and husband Achilles Tom of New Orleans; three grandsons, Justin and Jerrod Oktay and wife Andrea and Zac Moody; two granddaughters, Taryn Moody and Victoria Mamalis; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Joe Moody and his wife Sharon of Broken Arrow, Don Moody and wife Terri of Humble, TX and Marvin and wife Eva of Enid; sister, Anita Kriesel and husband Jim of Spring, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing will be from 11:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, December 29, 2014 with family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Floral Haven. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK.
