James Morris' Obituary
James Henderson Morris,87, passed away on January 2,2021. He was born May 18,1933 to Tom and Viola Morris. James served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the DAV. He was a longtime member of the Baptist Church and enjoyed photography, crosswords, and woodworking. He worked as a refueling mechanic at the Tulsa Airport, until his retirement in 2008. James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 34 years Gretchen; brother Tom; and 3 sisters Betty,Becky,and Sybil; grandson Jerry. He is survived by sister; Oceal of Bartlesville; 4 daughters; Karen, husband Ron of the home, Karol, husband Bobb,and Kim, husband Jim all of Phoenix,and Stephannie of Wichita; son James of Sayre; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. No service is scheduled at this time due to Covid restrictions. Donations may be made in his honor to DAV in Claremore.
