Obituary for Mary Anne Orians Karen wrote a special obituary for her mother and dad.Mary Anne O’Hara born September 18, 1932 to Sue and Emmett.James Robert Orians born June 16, 1932 to Irma and Edmond.Mary Anne grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the “Falls” to the locals.James grew up in Tiffin, Ohio. They met at Heidelberg College where dad graduated as an Industrial Engineer and mom with a double major in English and Psychology. Dad entered the Army and they got married at Fort Benning, Georgia on March 19, 1955.They had a daughter, Karen Anne on December 12, 1959, in Long Beach, California, where they settled after dad got out of the Army.The family moved to Tulsa over Christmas in 1967. Dad started working at RockwellBoeing in 1967 and retired in 1995. Mom got her driver’s license and a job as the Assistant Manager at the Continental Theater in 1974. She continued to work in service and sales for the next 15 years.The have 3 grandchildren: Erin Anne25, James Patrick23, Frances Sue19 and 1 great-grandchildren: Avery Harris Zaremba~2.
