James Allan Peterson's Obituary
James Allan “Pete” Peterson, Jr., 88, of Broken Arrow, passed away August 7, 2020. He was born July 24,1932 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to J A and Ruth Peterson. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was an accomplished artist. In his free time you could find him fishing, working in the yard, or building something. He was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Lois. He is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Jeanann; son Jim Peterson, of Tulsa; daughter Beth Trizza, of Dallas; granddaughter Candice Peterson, of Tulsa; granddaughter Jennifer Westnedge, of Sapulpa; granddaughter Melissa Peterson, of Denver; granddaughter Nikki Moncrief, of Dallas; grandson Anthony Trizza, of Dallas; great grandson Xavier Peterson, of Tulsa; great granddaughter Journee Westnedge, of Sapulpa; and great grandson Mason Cortner, of Denver. A service to celebrate Pete’s life will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at First United Methodist Church Broken Arrow.
