James Charles Pilkington, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died November 17th, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Saint John’s Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born September 11th, 1939, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Gladys Pilkington. He was a 1975 graduate of the University of Tulsa, a Pit Master BBQ guru, long time staple at the door of Cain’s Ballroom.James is preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife, Patricia; Son’s Charlie and Tony; daughter Misty Eck of Muskogee; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 3PM, Friday, December 6, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
