James "Jim" Ray Carr's Obituary
James Ray Carr born September 22, 1939 to Esther Aileen Rowley Carr and Clyde Garlock Carr in Garnett, Kansas. Attended Schools in Saxman, Kansas, Garnett, Kansas and Welda, Kansas. Married Janet Loree Cherry August 30, 1957 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They had 2 children, Jana Rae and James Ray Jr. Jim, Grew up on a farm at Garnett, Kansas and served in the US Army 1962 to 1965. He was in insurance many years and a Pastor. Jim and Janet moved to Broken Arrow in 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet, a son, mother, father and grandparents. Survivors are his daughter Jana of Tulsa, Sisters, Joan Knight of Lawrence, Kansas and Marlene Setter of Kansas City, Mo and a brother Richard L Carr of Moore, Oklahoma: nieces, nephews and friends. Jim was a member of Hope Church, Broken Arrow, Ok. He loved and served the Lord and is now with Him and his wife Janet. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Services have been entrusted to Floral Haven Funeral Home, Crematory and Memorial Gardens, 6500 S 129th E Ave; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.
