Hello Debbie,
I'm so sorry to know about Jim's passing, I know he will be truly missed.
While working in the Postal Service I had the privilege to work with Jim on several projects. We were counterparts as Directory Analysis Specialist, and we used to exchange emails and had phone conversations regarding how we could improve the accuracy of mail coding platforms, then we meet in one of our training classes in Norman. He was always very helpful and a very easy person to work with, then our positions were abolished and both of us got promoted as an Automation Operations Specialist, since we were such a small group I had the opportunity to work with Jim in all kinds of projects and I learned to appreciate him even more. So we worked for 3 years and then we got an offer to retire, so both of us retired at the same time. He was just a real asset to the Postal Service, he was very helpful, he always had time to listen and provide feedback, a team player and a fun person to work with all the different assignments we did as a team.
In a personal level I had to opportunity to share what the Lord was doing in our lives and that was always refreshing and uplifting.
We have the consolation that he is enjoying the presence of Jesus and that we will see him again.
