James A. Riley's Obituary
James A. Riley, a resident of Glenpool, passed away February 3, 2018 at the age of 87. He was born February 28, 1930 to Andrew L. Riley and Thelma L. (Costen) Riley in Higgins, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed camping, coaching softball, sports and going to church. He worked as a truck driver for Keebler and Tox Trucklines and worked as a bus driver and in maintenance for Verdigris School and was a Teamster Member.He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Louise Riley and Andrew L. Riley; siblings, Lawrence Riley, Leonard Riley, Leon Riley, Louise Riley Stotts, T.J. Riley, Marcus Riley, Eldon Riley and John Riley.Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Freda Riley; sister, Maudie McLearn; daughter, Brenda Keiffer and husband, Mark; granddaughter, Vanessa Anderson and husband, Josh; grandson, Brandon Keiffer and wife, Allison; great granddaughters, Rachel Anderson, Kaegen Caldwell, Kristyn Caldwell, Kaci Caldwell, Reese Keiffer and Riley Keiffer; great-great grandson, Sterling Stevenson and many many nieces and nephews.Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Jenks.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force and the Patriot Guard Riders.Pallbearers will be Keith Davis, Rick Crenshaw, Ronnie Harrison, James Gary Riley, Charles Riley and Jackie Riley.Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Harrison, Jerry Harrison, Mike Crenshaw, Edward Davis.
