James Henry Snyder's Obituary
James “Jim” Henry Snyder passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lunda, of 74 years, his four children: Dave (Jan), Don (Beverly), Dan (Cathy), Denise (Ron). He was known as “Popie” to his grandchildren: Brent (Kerri), Bryan (Wendi), Natalie (Jerry), Jamie, Jeremy (Cindy), Rachel (Jason), Kayla (Thomas), Brandon (Tammy), Nathan, and Zackary; and great-grandchildren: Isac (Alaina), Shelby (Austin), Eli (Katelyn), Gabe, Isabel, Liberty, Sadie, James, Henry, Bentley, Judson, Skylei, Andrew, Emery, Madalyn, Raelynn, Eli, Carson, and Alliannah, and great-great-grandson: Grayson. Jim was born in Tulsa, OK on April 12, 1928 to Carl and Della Snyder.
He graduated from Webster High School and was a member of West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas Company. Jim was a jack of all trades and often helped friends and family with their maintenance needs. He was always busy fixing something. He loved being around his family and always had stories to tell of his many memories he made through the years. Although we will miss him, we are celebrating that he is in a better place
Visitation will be 4-6 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
