James R Trimble, born on November 26, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 84. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his final moments.
James, also known as Jim, was a dedicated and hardworking man who lived his life with integrity, kindness, and generosity. He served his country proudly as a member of the Oklahoma National Guard and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Jim spent over 30 years working in the cement industry, where he developed a reputation for his strong work ethic and his ability to solve complex problems. His dedication to his work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Amy Burdette, his son, Dane Trimble, and his sister, Genice Cook. He was a loving father, brother, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Apart from his achievements in his professional life, Jim had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed indulging in activities like golfing, boating, riding ATVs, and shooting guns. Additionally, he was also a skilled genealogist and took great pleasure in researching his family's ancestry.
Jim's kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering commitment to his family and community will never be forgotten. His legacy will continue to live on through the memories he shared with those who were lucky enough to know him.
A private funeral service for family and close friends will be held to celebrate Jim's life and honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army in Jim's honor.
