James Edward Waller's Obituary
James E. Waller was born June 18, 1946 in Arlington, Texas, to Temple D. Waller and Ruby Merie (Moody) Waller. He was one among eight children. He was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1965 and attended the University of Texas. May 1, 1965 he married June Long in Arlington. To that union was born two daughters, Angela and Rebecca. James and June were married 32 years. James served the United States Navy as an air craft inspector for 25 years. He was honored as a top recruiter and retired as a Senior Chief. He worked for Nordam for 13 years as an FAA Designee and 14 more years on his own dar. He played softball in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion. August 6, 1999, James married Laurie Ann Newhart in Tulsa, Oklahoma. James left his life July 23, 2015 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ruby Cuellar, his brother Douglas Waller, and his daughter Tiffany Schroder. He is survived by his wife Laurie of the home; his daughters Angela Maner and husband David of Tulsa; and Rebecca McCall and husband Tracy of Tulsa, his son Jessy Newhart and wife Caitlin of Tulsa, his seven grandchildren Anna, Aaron, and Alex Maner, Ian McCall, Ally and Madi Schroder, and Molly Genoff, his three brothers Temple, Dick, and Walter, and his two sisters Sally Fulkerson and Sandra Eikel. Services will be at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on July 28, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
