James Robert Wilkerson's Obituary
James 'Jim' Robert Wilkerson went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. He was born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on January 10, 1945 to Andrew and Gladys Wilkerson; the youngest of their five children. He graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1963 and later served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jo Ann 'Jodi' Wilkerson and their children: Sheryl Matthews and her children Nate, Chad, and Kaitlynn; Lisa and her husband Ryan Hart and their children Sarah and Lauren; James Matthews and his children Joshua and Natalie; Christa and her husband Wei Yin and their children Brandon and Justin; Brandy and her husband David Charles and their children Bryce and Brayden. He is also survived by his sister Lois and her husband Lee Graham and his sister Carole Harden, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones including his loyal dog Queenie. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew and Gladys Wilkerson, and his brothers Kenneth and Don Wilkerson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held the following day Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th E. Avenue Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012.
