James is survived by his spouse Marilou Deggendorf; daughter Debra Derhaag; daughter Lynn and her husband Steve Harper; son Michael and his wife Carrie Deggendorf; son Patrick and his wife Rhonda Deggendorf; son Mark Deggendorf; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Catholic Charities.
