James D. Williams' Obituary
James Darrel Williams passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. James was born November 21, 1935 , in Bentonville, Arkansas to James and Goldie Williams. James worked in the information technology field for many years, at one time running his own contracting business. After retiring, he worked for several years in the garden center at Wal-Mart and as a door greeter. He is survived by his children, Janet Whitmer and her husband Russell of Louisburg, Sheila Jindra and husband Randy of Coweta, and daughter Kimberly Hart and husband Kenny of Yorktown, Virginia; grandchildren David Jindra, Lorien Jindra, James Whitmer, Malinda Whitmer, Kevin Jindra, Tara Hart, and Catie Hart, great-grandchildren MacKaylah Johnson, Austin Johnson, and Scarlett Jindra; brothers Lauren Williams, Dwight Williams, and Carl Williams; and sisters Joy Leeper, Lalla Tigges, and Sharon Williams. Preceding him in death are his parents, James and Goldie Williams, wife June Williams (Spiva), and brother Earl Williams. The family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
