James Edward Williams, a resident of Tulsa, passed away December 5, 2019 at the age of 87. He was born January 31, 1932 to Jesse James Williams and Velma Viola (Henderson) Burris in Wewoka, Oklahoma.He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Williams; parents, Jesse James Williams and Velma Viola Burris; eight brothers and sisters.Survivors include his four children, Jimmy Williams and wife, Carrie, Sherrie Percy and husband, Art, Chris Burns and husband, Bob and Dawn Byars and husband, Christopher; thirteen grandchildren, Amber Williams and husband, David Boyd, Michael Williams, Matthew Percy and wife, Carla, Brandy Turner and husband, Russell, Amy, Kristi, Sarah, Jameson, Nathaniel, Charlotte, Harrison, Roslyn Byars and William Byars; great grandchild, Aleeah Williams and numerous other great grandchildren; niece, Delores Darby and numerous other relatives and friends.Family will greet friends Tuesday, December 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 11th at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.Military Honors will conducted by the United States Navy.
