James B. Williamson's Obituary
James B. Williamson, 87, of Sapulpa, died on Sunday, June 22, 2014. He was born in Keota, Oklahoma, on March 2, 1927, the son of Charles and Fannie (Mosby) Williamson. James grew up in the Keota area, and after leaving school, he proudly served in the United States Navy. On April 12, 1947, he married Betty Brazeal, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Betty Williamson, children, Jimmy Williamson, and his wife, Carol, of Sapulpa, Kathryn Strong, and her husband, Ernest, of Tulsa, and Diane Hedges, of Owasso, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren (and one on the way), brothers, Charles Williamson, of Tulsa, and Earl Williamson, of Keota, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Neil, Troy, Harvey, and Rodney Williamson. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.
