Jane Sylvia Morris' Obituary
Jane Sylvia Morris passed away November 23, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jane was born on April 30, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to her parents, Allan Maddox and Helen Sharp. During her schooling, she attended Dallas Baptist University, Baylor University School of Nursing, and Southern Nazarene University which led to a culminated effort of her Bachelor’s degree. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Tulsa as well as Beta Sigma Phi. Jane was a courageous , empowering, loving and generous woman. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, having lunch with friends, and sewing. She is survived by her daughter Kimberley, son-in-law Jimmy, 3 grandsons Luke, Matthew, Justin, sister Apple Phillips and husband Greg Phillips, 3 nieces Carissa Phillips-Garrett, Ariana Phillips, Sierra Phillips, and aunt Maddox Naomi. She is loved by many friends and the entirety of her family. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Tulsa on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be at Floral Haven Funeral Home of Broken Arrow on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 12 – 9 pm.
