I’m so sorry for your loss! I was one of Mrs. Tucker’s students at Hawthorne Elementary back in the 1982. I loved her and Mrs. Miller, they were 2 peas in a pod. Mrs. Tucker did not play about our education, she cared about all her students. She always stressed the importance of education. She was my favorite elementary teacher! Oh how I loved my Aunt Jane, my name sake. Never did I ever doubt that my Aunt Jane loved me. I have such sweet memories of her as I was growing up. Uncle Cecil and Renee, I love you both so much. I wish I could be with you in person tomorrow. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers.
