Her joys included her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her extended family, many friends, and giving fits to her favorite POV (poor old Vic). She loved Halloween, dressing up as a witch, her Red Cap in the attic, most of all Christmas and her beloved Santa. She loved cooking, eating food someone else brought in, crocheting, cross stitching, her long list of projects she wanted to try and having a cup of tea with anyone who stopped by. Janet, at the age of 77 found out she had Breast Cancer. Throughout the treatments she stayed strong and confident that she would win the battle and was never without a smile. She became a Cancer Survivor without a single complaint or an ounce of self-pity. After a long and difficult journey she gained a new appreciation for the color “pink”. Her everlasting legacy will continue on through her family, friends, and anyone blessed to have met her. She lived each day by being an example of strength, courage, truth, kindness, and never ending love.
