Janet Katherine Schneider's Obituary
Janet was born on Sunday October 1, 1950 at 9:25 PM in Kansas City Missouri. She grew up in Prairie Village Kansas and attended St Ann’s Catholic grade school and then on to Bishop Miege High School. When she was a Junior in Spanish class, she met the guy who sat behind her (me). It must have been love at first sight because not much Spanish was learned that year. We eventually married and celebrated Six years of dating and 53 years of marriage.
She became a Navy wife for a few years before moving with me to Tulsa to attend school to become a pilot and mechanic.
Janet worked in the retail industry in high school and continued in retail in Tulsa before becoming a secretary at St Thomas More church for many years.
Janet loved plants and flowers and was a member of the Tulsa Garden Club and Linnaeus Teaching Gardens. She loved spending time outdoors and with her family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter of our Lord and Savior. She was kind, loving, and generous, and she will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.
Janet is survived by me , who she tolerated for 59 years with some crazy ideas that I had over the years, and being away on special occasions due to my job. Our son Jesse and his wife Kelli , who followed in his father’s footsteps, except for the crazy ideas, for which she and I are most proud! And Jennifer our daughter, a very special young lady whom she loved very much. Her sister Mary Leonard and her husband Glen, brother Rick Robinson, and wife Martha.
Janet is preceded in death by her father, Robert Robinson, her mother, Rosemary Robinson Crahan, and older sister, Carol Collins Robinson.
Janet, rest in peace in God's grace. ~ Love Mike
The memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, November 29, 2023, at St Pius X Catholic Church.
