Janice Foster's Obituary
Janice “Jannie” J. Foster passed away on March 23, 2010 at the age of 63. She was born to Ross and Margaret Widener on January 15, 1947. Jannie graduated high school in North Platte, NE and married her husband of 44 years, Steve Foster, soon after. She went on to have a family, volunteer in many civic programs, and create a loving and stable home in addition to working various jobs of interest including Merle Norman Cosmetics and Customer Service Manager at Wal-Mart. She loved to garden, crochet and sew, as well as participate in activities of her family, especially those of her grandchildren. She would always find the blessings in life and make the time to support others even during her own adversities. In addition to her husband Steve, Jannie is survived by daughter DeDe and husband Trip English, daughter Belinda and husband Lance Whorton, four grandchildren, Tyler and Terran English, and Blake and Paige Whorton. She is also survived by her sisters, Junie and husband Bob Folchert, Sudah Stuhems, and brother Jim Widener. Although her presence and smile will be sorely missed, the mark of love and kindness she has left an the world and all who have known her will be everlasting. A celebration of her life will take place in the Family Center at Floral Haven on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Gift of Life House, 705 2nd Street Southwest, Rochester, MN 55902. The Gift of Life House is a non-profit facility where she had the privilege of staying to gain strength and support during her treatment away from home.Survived By:
