Janice Annette Petrunak's Obituary
In loving memory of Janice Annette Petrunak, born in Tulsa to the late W.L. “Rusty” Ruston and Pearl Ruston. Janice, a graduate of McLain High School, embarked on a journey of love and family when she married Dan Petrunak, with whom she shared the joy of raising three children: Kevin Petrunak and his wife of 20 years, Jamie Petrunak, Crystal Petrunak, and Casey Petrunak.
Throughout her life, Janice found solace and strength in her faith, attending Sperry Christian Church for many years. She dedicated over two decades of her life as a bus driver, ensuring the safety of countless children, before transitioning to the role of a caretaker, where she continued to spread her warmth and kindness.
Janice's greatest pride was her family. She cherished her role as a grandmother to nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, showering them with love and affection. Beyond her immediate family, Janice's compassionate spirit extended to the countless children whose lives she touched with her generosity and care.
In the hearts of those who knew her, Janice leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness. She is survived by her brother Randy Ruston and sister-in-law Tami Ruston. Though her brother James Ruston preceded her in death, Janice's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she brightened with her presence.
