Janice Renee Smith's Obituary
Janice Smith, 66, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on October 2, 2025. Born on March 26, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the beloved daughter of Charles Ramer and Jeanette Swank.
Janice was a force to be reckoned with—vocal, earnest, and unwavering in her convictions. Her loved ones will remember her most for her fierce loyalty and her selfless desire to care for those around her. She could always be counted on to speak her mind, and her stubbornness was matched only by her devotion to her family. Whether you needed advice, support, or a good laugh, Janice was the first to step in with a ready smile and open arms.
As a young woman, Janice had an infectious spirit. She loved nothing more than to dance with her friends, her energy lighting up any room she entered. Her love for life extended to her favorite pastime—watching game shows.
A natural protector, Janice was fiercely dedicated to her family. She adored her parents, siblings, and extended family, always putting their needs above her own. Her love was unconditional, and she provided a sense of security and comfort to all who knew her.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents and grandchildren Dakota and Cheyenne
Janice is survived by her son Robert Haines, son Joey Smith, son Jason Smith, brother Brian Ramer and wife Erica, brother Charles Ramer and wife Sharon, grandchildren Keaton Smith, Madison Smith, Ethan Smith, Matea Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 13th, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
