Janice Mary Voskuhl's Obituary
Janice M. Voskuhl was born November 8, 1929 in Covington, KY and passed from this life on June 1, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Janice worked as an accounting supervisor for years but her true calling was in the medical field and she returned to school in her mid 40's to become a registered nurse specializing in emergency room care. She worked at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, IL, St. Joseph's Hospital in Elgin, IL then moved to Tulsa, OK where she worked at Claremore Regional Hospital and then Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She enjoyed traveling around the world, sewing, crocheting, and needlepoint and took pride in all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janice is survived by children, Joseph & Caren Voskuhl, Tuscaloosa, AL, Kenneth & Mary Voskuhl, Cincinnati, OH, Victoria & David Zierk, Elgin, IL, Theodore & Linda Voskuhl, Lexington, KY, Rita & Carl Cantrell, Tulsa, OK, Mary & Jack Holton, Elgin, IL, Karl Voskuhl, Greenville, NC, Elsa Voskuhl, Nicholasville, KY and preceded in death by son James “Bucky” Voskuhl. Also survived by 15 grandchildren (and their spouses) Jason (Tammy), Jake (Jennifer), Jared (Courtney), Kenny, David, Eric, Jordan (Marcia), Autumn, Kristi (Joe), Karri, Tristan, Greg (Shelley), Steven, John and Ellen; 17 great-grandchildren, Michael, Zoie, Skylar, Daisy, Shayne, Gage, Dashel, Lucian, Alyssa, Tyler, Avrey, Megan, Logan, Gabriel, Emery, Gavin and Owen; sisters Joyce Eaton, Hazel Corcoran, Grace Steffen, Rosalie Kaman and Maureen Rabe and preceded in death by sister Leah Brumfield. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend, Karli Glover. Viewing will be on Monday, June 4, 2012, and services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 12:30 PM at Floral Haven Chapel, Broken Arrow, OK.
