Janice Zodrow's Obituary
Janice Helen Zodrow passed away February 8, 2023 at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa. She was born February 22, 1939 in Tulsa to Edwin Scott Anderson and Frances (Terry) Anderson. Janice had a lifelong interest in learning, taking several courses at TU, as well as vocational courses in Spanish, the Cherokee language, and wallpapering. She also had a fierce devotion to her family, both immediate and extended, and many dear and loyal friends. She was a long-time member of St. John's Catholic Church in Bartlesville and worked for many years at Phillips as an administrative assistant. She was also a long-time volunteer for Bartlesville's Adult Literacy Council.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Francine Frost, and the love of her life, Donald John Zodrow, whom she married on August 22, 1959. Janice is survived by three daughters, Dawn Eastman (Joseph) of Stillwater; Deirdrea Jaoudi (Joseph) of Sunnyvale, CA; and Dorian Thompson of Oklahoma City; one sister, Hope Ann Booze of Temple, TX; five grandchildren, Joseph Jaoudi (Danielle) of Sunnyvale, CA; Matthew Jaoudi of Sammamish, WA; Andrew Eastman of Stillwater; Emily Eastman of Broken Arrow, and William Eastman (Angie) of Bristow; five great-grandchildren; and innumerable nieces, nephews, and dearly beloved friends. A Celebration of Life will be held March 25, 2023, 12:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S. 129th East Avenue, in Broken Arrow.
