Janis Diane Porter's Obituary
Janis Diane Porter of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away Sunday 3/7/10 with her loving family by her side. Born on 8/25/29 to Elmer Jackson Wynn and Eileen Bringham Wynn in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an avid Tole Painter belonging to the Tulsa Town Tolers as well as an active member of Indian Springs Country Club. She enjoyed many years of friendship with her neighbors in Indian Springs and from painting. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 50 years Donald Porter. She is survived by her Daughters, Allison, D.D., and Erin Porter of Broken Arrow, her sons and daughter-in-laws Brad and Jody Porter of Bixby, Curtis and Carol Porter of Coweta, brother, Jack (Sunny) and wife Jinny Wynn of Tulsa. Sister-in-law, Velda Porter of Salina, Oklahoma and her grandchildren Wesley and Jessica Porter, Cameron Porter, Chad Woods, Sara Woods, Megan Porter and Amy Porter. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Oklahoma Attachment and Bonding Coalition at www.OKABC.org. Services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:00 am, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
