I am originally from Tulsa, and I did know your son or your family. Your story about Jared touched me and so many others already throughout the world. My severely disabled abled son only lived 33 days (Simeon died in 1990) & was in a coma the whole time, so to say I relate to your situation would not be true. You are being prayed for, and may the Lord comfort you.Jerusha Myers Ssempeswa
I also did not know your Jared and I am so sorry for your loss. Your tribute to him and message touched my heart. I had tears reading it. You are no doubt an amazing and caring person and sure that Jared made you a better person in life. Thank you for touching my heart and soul today. We all need a Jared in our lives. Sending hugs to you. God bless you wonderful momma. Cathey Hazelwood
Dear Joan, you don't know me, but Jared's obituary in the Tulsa World touched me like you can't imagine. You see, I lost my adult disabled son on July 15th, and I too held him as he took his last breath. He was born brain damaged, was severely mentally retarded and at age 18 was diagnosed with M.S. In the end, it was M.S. that killed him.I am consumed by many different feelings; so many that I don't understand. Jared was a beautiful child, as was my Ryan. Ryan was 35, and I can only believe that he's out of pain now, as Jared is too. Please, please email me at [email protected]. I feel we can certainly help each other during these times of healing. My very best to you, Sherry Hill.
May God be with you in your feelings of sorrow and loss. Jared is walking with Jesus on streets of purest gold. He was loaned to your precious family for a season, but now he has gone home, where he will be awaiting the arrival of each of his beloved family members. Love and fond wishes, Ruth L. Lawrence (cousin)
Jared had a beautiful smile and soul and brought joy to many people who knew him. He is rejoicing in Heaven walking and talking like he was never able to do while on this earth. Jesus welcomed him into his house with open arms.
