Our thoughts and prayers are with you Faye and your family We only met you both once in Texas but we remember the good times we had. We are members of the Class of o7 we are keeping you in our prayers during this time of loss.
We will miss Jay's jokes, kindnesses and especially his ever-present smile. He never knew a stranger. Elvis has left the building.
Jay will be remembered any time I hear Elvis, or I see Blue Women. We all will miss him, but he would want us all to keep on enjoying life.

Fay – We wish we could be there to give you a big hug! We'll miss Jay – he was the light of every RV party and going to Gonzalez Burgers just won't be the same without him.
Fay, our prayers are with you at this time. We truly appreciate all your efforts in the past two years to keep us updated regarding Jay's (Mike's as he was known to this 1st cousin)condition. We were all "thrilled" that we got to see both of you summer 2010. What a blessing to have been able to visit with Mike while everyone was in Alabama. As we chatted summer 2010, I related to Mike how as a child he had sent me a Spanish doll while he was in the Navy that delighted my fancy to be able to travel. Mike just replied, "Beck, that must have been one of my better times – probably I'd won some money playing cards". We will miss Mike, however, we know he's no longer in pain. He was a great first cousin who will be missed.
We are thankful for the great times we had together. Jay will always be with us in spirit. We welcome that he is at rest & free from pain. Our thoughts are with Fay & trust that she finds a sense of peace soon. We love you both so much. Happy Trails until we meet again! luv ya, Bruce & Candy the Girl's
Well this is terrible news. My deepest sympathy to Fay and the family. I've never forgotten the words Jay asid to me the day he hired me to be a service advisor back in 1972, "I'm going to give you a job that you can do anywhere, John. You'll always be able to make a living if you do what I say." I did what he said, and he was right! Over the years I lost touch with Jay, and it wasn;t for lack of him inviting me to "come see us", but I never forgot him or the things he taught me. The world was a better place when Jay was in it. He will be missed and I will never forget him. May God comfort Fay and the girls at this terrible time…
