I have countless "fondest memories" with my Aunt Jayne. From my earliest childhood memories, she was a very loving, fun, compassionate, understanding, brutally honest (which sometimes we all need...LOL), and a comforting presence/influence in my life. As a young kid, Jayne was the fun Aunt that was always up for the fair, fun food, Dr. Pepper, puffs from her cigarettes (and even telling me I blew a smoke ring when I didn't even I thought you blew into the cigarette filter...it was the 70's, IT WAS OK! I SURVIDED!). She was always the adult that truly listened to your story and was just as excited as you when it was time for that reaction. I remember her being pregnant with each of my cousins being excited because it felt like I was getting another brother or sister. She was one of 3 people in my life that loved me about as much as my own mother and I knew that my entire life. She was forever a cheerleader for your success even when you were having one of those stumbling or plateau periods in your life. She was able to convey being at my grandparents' house with the family over the phone with a long delay when I was deployed on holidays. She always understood. Jayne, Ernie, and my cousins were my immediate family and I love you all very very much. This was really hard to write because of the loss, but it also easy to remember how huge in my life, in my heart, and in my soul she will remain. I love you so much, Jayne.
