JB Creech's Obituary
J.B. Creech was born October 7, 1944 to Jesse and Dortha Creech in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He passed into the presence of His Lord and Savior on January 31, 2015.Following graduation from Tulsa Central High School, he became a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. As a Medevac, he was involved in transporting the wounded from Vietnam for further medical treatment stateside.J.B. was a long-time employee of American Foundry Group in Bixby, where he served in many capacities through the years, most recently as Special Projects and Implementation Manager.He was a long-time rancher in the Boynton, OK area where he formed many friendships and pursued his love of horses and riding.He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Peggy Hayes, of the home; and his brother, Randy Creech and wife, Espie of Spring Branch, Texas. He is also survived by nephews, Bret Turley and wife Julia of Dublin, Ohio; Wesley Creech of New Braunfels, Texas; and nieces Jessica Howes and husband, Brad of Austin, Texas; Amanda LaRue and husband, Mark of Richmond, Texas; Marisa Cheatum and husband Cameron of San Antonio, Texas; great-nephews Steven Turley, Garrett Turley, Eric Robbins, Ryan Robbins, Brady Robbins, Hayden LaRue; and great nieces, Elizabeth Turley and Liberty LaRue, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.He was known as a man of faith and integrity and will be greatly missed not only by family but by his many friends and acquaintances.Memorial gifts may be made to Bended Knee Cowboy Church, 17623 West 53 St. South, Boynton, OK 74422.Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 4th, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow.Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 5th, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with committal service to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens,Broken Arrow.
