Jean Frances Kadlecik's Obituary
Jean Francis Kadlecik, Jean was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 15, 1940 to Ruth & Louis Essen. She lived in Cincinnati as a child and adult; she had five brothers and sisters, Larry, Roger, Mary Lou, Kathy and Jim. In 1976, she started working as a recreation assistant for the city of Forest Park where she met her future husband, Michael and they married on June 10, 1978. They moved first to Davenport, Iowa and then to Palatine, Illinois. In Palatine, Jean fulfilled her college dream, receiving her Associate’s degree from Harper College and then her Bachelors of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University. Jean was a wonderful wife and mother to her step children. She was a committed Christian and community volunteer. In October 1998, the family moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She continued to volunteer. She also loved gardening especially roses. She also loved her pets, especially two cats, Mindy and Lindy. She was a wonderful Christian wife who will be missed until we meet again in Christ.
