Jean E. Quigley's Obituary
JEAN QUIGLEY, 88Jean Eloise Quigley, 88, of Broken Arrow, passed away on May 28, 2017, in Tulsa, Okla. She was born May 22, 1929 in Spokane, Wash., to Harold and Dorothy Loch. She married Charles Daniel Quigley on Nov. 24, 1956 in California, and the couple remained together for 45 years until his death in 2002. A graveside service for Jean will be held at 2 p.m. May 31 at Floral Haven Funeral Home and Cemetery. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and husband as well by her brother, Harold Loch. She is survived by her sister, Linda Loch. She is also survived by her daughter, Judy Jackson and her husband, Jim, of Jenks, Okla.; and her grandchildren of Jamie Blake, and her husband, Alex, of Columbia, Mo.; and Jessica Jackson, of Claremore, Okla. She is the great-grandmother to Jocelyn, Cole, Alea and Shepherd Blake. Jean married Charles after a short courtship and welcomed their baby girl 11 months later. After raising their daughter in California, Charles and Jean moved to Miami, Okla., following Charles’ job at BF Goodrich. The couple lived in Miami for 24 years before relocating to Broken Arrow to be closer to their daughter. Jean worked for many years as a secretary for various manufacturing companies, retiring in 1976 from BF Goodrich. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, especially for her loved ones, and keeping her house tidy. She was devoted to her West Highland Terrier, Carley.
