Jeanne E. Hawksworth's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Jeanne E. Hawksworth, born August 15th, 1927, died August 22nd, 2013 at 11:00pm. Throughout her life Jeanne enjoyed dancing, sewing, playing bridge with friends and traveling but most of all she loved the large family gatherings that were frequently held at her home of 35 years on Reservoir Hill. She was involved with the hospital auxiliary and spent many years active in the Tulsa Elks Lodge #946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Frank Howard, sisters, Joy Ann Pfaeffle and Jo Claire Porter, brother Jack Howard, and husbands, John A. Brasfield and Thomas M. Hawksworth. She is survived by her children, Randy Brasfield, Steve Brasfield, Bill Brasfield, David Brasfield and Jean Anne Hodges,10 step children, 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Service will be held Saturday, August 31st at First Presbyterian Church, 709 S. Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK in the chapel at 10:00am. Donations may be made in her honor to The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association. Flowers may be sent to First Presbyterian Church.
