Aunt Jeannell I have some very fond memories of you. The weekends spent at your house were fun and adventurous in my childhood days. I appreciate you for taking me in not as a stranger, but as your flesh and blood from day one. I appreciate the laughter you gave me, loving me, and for seeing the best in me. I moved away and missed so many years of your life before you transitioned, but I knew you were sick and the last time I saw you my heart just sank because I saw how much suffering you were enduring. I saw the heartache losing your child caused you and have been praying for your healing for so long. Well God finally answered my prayers, but selfishly I wished the healing would’ve happened on this side. I would’ve enjoyed one last hug, one last laughter, and one last moment of hearing your voice. However, I will accept His will and just say I’ll see you later. Rest easy, Aunt Jeannell. I will always love you.
