Jorgensen, Jeffrey Gorden's Obituary
Jeffrey Gorden Jorgensen, 71, of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on July 7, 2025. Born on November 17, 1953, in Tracy, Minnesota, to Gorden and Ann Jorgensen, Jeff was a quiet and gentle soul who found joy in the simple things in life.
He grew up near the lake and played football and wrestled in his youth. He began working at a pizza shop while in high school and would go on to spend 40 years in the restaurant business. His skills in the kitchen made holiday gatherings extra special.
Jeff had a deep love for his family and cherished spending time with them. A homebody at heart, he enjoyed cooking meals, baking for his family, and sharing quiet evenings watching sports with his beloved wife of 42 years. He was an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors and the Kansas City Chiefs and OU, always ready to cheer on his favorite teams. He loved listening to alternative music but would watch old classic T.V. shows on repeat.
His favorite place to be in the world was out on the lake, where he found great joy on his boat and soaking in the peacefulness of the outdoors.
He cherished his pets—his crazy dog, Koko, and his cat, Lola—who brought him comfort and companionship in his final years. Jeff also took great pride in working on his cars and boat, sometimes getting lost in the garage for hours.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Editza "Eddie" Jorgensen, daughter Erin Nicole Jorgensen and significant other Donnie Prescott, daughter Brooke Ashley Jorgensen and significant other Matthew Franklin, son Jordan Miller Jorgensen, son Marc Jorgensen, daughter Kelly Jorgensen Hicks, grandchildren Payton Franklin and Negan Franklin, along with numerous friends and loved ones. He will be greatly missed.
