Jennifer DeTar's Obituary
Jennifer Jean DeTar “JJ”, 50, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born on January 10, 1971 and passed away on April 25, 2021 in her home. She loved family, friends, poetry, art, music (U2), F•R•I•E•N•D•S and her cats.
Jennifer is survived by two children, Chelsy Alberty and Jakob Alberty and granddaughter Kayden Byford. Jennifer is also survived by her father and stepmother Thomas and Lauren DeTar, sisters Nicole Fergus, Brooke Johnson, Ashley Hulsey, Jessica Calhoun (Braden), brother James Britain (Gloria) along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Frances Black Freed.
A celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 2pm at the Breakthrough Church at 9123 E. 22nd Place, Tulsa, OK.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Tulsa or the Tulsa SPCA.
