Jerald Ripple's Obituary
Jerald “Jerry” Stanley Ripple, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born in Northfield, Minnesota, to Stanley and Lena (Koster) Ripple.
Jerry grew up on an 80-acre farm in Rice County, a true son of the Midwest who learned the value of hard work from an early age. He spent his early years working the land, driving horses and tractors for neighbors, and developing the strong work ethic that would define his life.
After graduating from Northfield High School in 1956, he built a life centered on family and dedication. He married Judy Hanson, with whom he welcomed his two sons, William and Donald. A skilled machinist, Jerry worked at several shops, including a long tenure at Hilti. It was there he found love again, meeting Rosemary “Rosie”. They were married on the first day of summer in 1979, and he warmly embraced his role as a father to her son, Michael Olson.
In a bold move, Jerry and Rosie relocated the family to Claremore Oklahoma before settling in Tulsa Oklahoma. He was a steadfast provider, husband, and father.
Those who knew Jerry will remember him as a kind, good, and gentle man. He had a soft spot for every dog that ever came his way and a legendary sweet tooth. He cherished the simple things: such as reading, riding his Harley motorcycle on many trips, the company of his family, and the quiet satisfaction of a life well-lived.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary "Rosie" Ripple; his sons, William Ripple, Donald Ripple, and Michael Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Grace Lien and Myrtle Ripple. He was a cherished grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside service will be held to honor Jerry's life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests cards be sent to Rosie.
