Jeremy Shadrick's Obituary
Jeremy Ray Shadrick was born March 3, 1976 to Ron and Diana Shadrick in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He departed this life June 26th, 2020 at the age of 44 years.
Jeremy is survived by his mother Diana, his wife of twelve years, LeAnne, nine year old daughter, Reese, and one year old son, Thorton as well as his sister Gena, brother-in-law Joe, nieces Madison, Alyssa, Kaitlyn and nephew Dylan. Jeremy was extremely close with many friends and family including six cousins, two aunts, and one uncle. His father Ron preceded him in death.
Jeremy was a graduate of Union High School in 1994 and from University of Tennessee in 1998, after playing football for both schools and attended graduate school at the University of South Florida. Jeremy’s big-picture mindset, creative thinking, and enthusiasm for helping others led to a successful non-profit business, QuickCert, one of the largest housing counseling agencies in the nation. Being a person that pushed himself and others for excellence, he also established Green Country Bud, which has grown to be one of the largest cannabis companies in Oklahoma in addition to constructing many commercial and residential real estate projects in Tulsa. He treated his employees like family. Even with his busy professional life, he never missed a school function, sporting event, or family gathering. He was a member of SouthPoint Church in Bixby and very involved in the community with the Bixby Chamber of Commerce, being nominated as Businessman of the Year in 2019.
Jeremy received a life saving kidney transplant in 2010 from his cousin, Chad. He knew the value of this generous gift to save his life. Because of how this gesture affected him, Jeremy was an organ donor. Today his organ donation has saved many lives:
A true hero to the end.
Pallbearers are Vince Bond, Chad Spencer, Joel Marsh, Alfred Sanchez, Brandon Gentry, Scott “Tiny” McDaniel, Stephan Wood, and Adam Cassidy.
