In Loving Memory of Jerry Ray Corbin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Ray Corbin, born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on September 4, 1951, and departed this world from Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 21, 2023. Jerry was an incredibly loving son, always caring for his dearest mother, Doris Jean Dunbar, until the very end. Jerry touched the lives of many with his kindness and he will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Jerry was born on September 4, 1951 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to parents Gerald and Doris Corbin. He later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with his mother, living on the west-side. Jerry graduated from Webster High School in 1968. After graduation, he went to work for the City of Tulsa in bus maintenance, where he stayed for many years until his retirement. Jerry was a fantastic mechanic and was known to fix anything anyone ever needed. For many years after retirement, Jerry worked as a DJ in many night clubs across Tulsa. His passion in life was anything connected with electronics. He will be forever missed.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father Gerald, mother Doris, stepfather Bill, stepbrother Rodney, and infant daughter Jamie. Jerry is survived by his cousin Danny Johnson, nephew Rondey Dunbar as well as two aunts and several other cousins.
A graveside service to honor the life of Jerry will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of Everlasting Life, located at 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
Anyone wishing to send flowers may do so by ordering through our website or by calling Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Any other florists may deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Jerry's graveside service.
